ARDIS starts production of copper absorbers for solar heat collectors

(openPR) - in Brandenburg the sun comes up

The ARDIS coating GmbH takes up the production of selective copper absorbers. In Brandenburg with a new procedure coated Kupferbänder are manufactured now for the first time, which the solar industry needs for the building of solar collectors. ARDIS can produce now extremely low-powered and completely emission-free. At the beginning of of 2006 began the Brandenburger enterprise the advancement of its new manufacturing process, which was based on the method of the arc evaporation (ARC PVD procedure). The individual production steps were since then constantly optimized, so that the development phase could successfully be locked in December 2006.

The ARDIS coating GmbH can offer now as one of the few German enterprises selective absorber volumes both for flat and for tube collectors with high quality for competitive prices. The new production procedure is particularly characterised by its outstanding energy and environmental balance. The energy consumption is extremely low and emissions results at all none. While with some other manufacturers partially substantial quantities of chemicals injurious to health and dangerous steams develop, ARDIS can produce environmentalcarefully - without waste water, without chemicals, without steams.

As coating materials only 2005 built coating plant titanium again and aluminum can to be used in that. Special absorption and coating for antireflection layers provide with the employment in solar heat collectors for a high absorption factor. Further the good corrosion protection represents a special quality criterion, so that the use of the Solarthermie is made possible also near the coast. For as small thermal an emission as possible the mad inflection of the substrate provides.

By the absorber volume, which is available under the label name PERIT, approximately 100,000 square meters are to be produced in this year. Already in the next year the full extent of utilization of the machine capacity (approx. 600,000 m ²) is presumably reached.
